Vintage Lampshade Glass Painted Brown Floral Frosted Beige Scallop Edge Melon Shape Shade for Hanging Oil Lamp Replica 70s Victorian Look

Sorry, this item has sold.

Vintage lampshade, glass with painted brown tiny floral, frosted beige with a scallop edge rim. A melon shape shade for a hanging oil lamp replica circa 70s. Victorian look hanging lamp replacement shade.

Approximate diameter at opening rim (that would be resting in the metal base of a hanging lamp): 9 ¾”
6 ½” tall
3 ¼” opening at interior top
5 ¼” diameter approximately, at scalloped edge
Approximately 10 ½” diameter at widest point

No maker’s marks.

Condition:
Good, vintage, used condition, but with some damage and repair. There are two small chips and a repair (that is barely visible. There repair can be seen on extremely close inspection. It appears a 1" x 1" approximate portion chipped away at the rim and was re-adhered. There is one chip that is on the top scalloped edge. Please see the close up photos above. It is very difficult to see, and will be even more so, if used on a hanging fixture. There is another chip (and various rough areas, or tiny chips, to the rough rim edge). This chip will be entirely hidden once the shade is placed into a fixture and it is the nature of these pieces to have roughness on this edge. There are a few dark imperfections on the exterior or the glass, all very light and minor. The painting is clear and there is no other damage I can discern. The damage has been greatly considered in pricing.
