Vintage Makkum tile by Royal Tichelaar Dutch pottery with a hand painted man with a sword and scroll. 1970s polychrome delft ceramic decorative tile with middle ages scenes.

Approximate size is 5” x 5” x 3/8”

(they are all slightly irregular because of their handmade nature)

Embossed with the Royal Tichelaar mark (crown and intertwined initials) from the 1960s onward, as well as, stamped with the letters GG, which dates these from the late 60s to early 70s.

Condition:
Good, vintage, used condition. A touch of faint crazing and surface staining. A chip on the underside corner. Moderate wear and imperfections, consistent with age and the nature of these pieces.
