Condition:
Structurally, excellent and in complete working order, despite its age. There is a bit of weakness in the fabric some of the tips (please see the final photo) and the umbrella itself is delicate and should be treated gently (it is not recommended that it be opened and closed excessively). There is wear, staining and discoloration to what was once the white nylon, especially at the upper areas. The fabric seems a bit brittle from age. The bears have crease lines and fading from years of storage. The metal ring at the top base of the wood tip has some pitting and rusting, and there is wear and some white paint marks to the black cap on the tip. The wood handle is in very good condition, with some wear to the finish from use. Overall, good condition, with flaws and wear considered in this very rare, airline collectible that has withstood use and the test of time.
