About the Rubaiyat Of Omar Khayyam:
A selection of poems, originally written in Persian and of which there are about a thousand, attributed to Omar Khayyám a Persian poet, mathematician and astronomer, who lived from 1048–1131 . A ruba'i is a two-line stanza with two parts per line, hence the word rubáiyát, which is derived from the Arabic language root for "four", meaning "quatrains".

Condition:
Very good, vintage used with a minor amount of wear, considering the age of the book. The spine remains intact and tight. There is wear to all the cloth bound corners and edges, and light discoloration to the outer spine. The pages just slightly discolored from age, moreso at the page edges, but there is no foxing, marks or creases/tears.
