Vintage seasons wall art. Japanese painted tiles, framed, set of 4 . A Winter scene, Spring sakura blossoms, Summer with pagoda and bridge and Fall landscape in Japan. Narrow, vertical, oblong art pieces in black lacquer frames. Could be hung side by side to fill a large space or as individual art pieces.
Approximate size of each with frames:
19” tall x 3 ¾” wide x 5/8” deep
There is a signature/stamp in Japanese on each corner and the original label is still present on the back of two, which reads:
“Imperial Imports Japan”
Condition:
The tile pieces themselves are in excellent, vintage, used condition. The frames are a bit banged up (they have a more distressed appearance). There are chips to the lacquer at all edges and much more so at most corners. Also some cracking in the black coating. The condition of the frames has been taken into consideration when pricing.
