Creepy Catacombs postcards. A macabre RPPC lot of 6, from the Palermo Catacombe Cappuccini. Featuring the corridor of priests and the department of men and professors. Embalmed skeletons, a tourist attraction in Sicily.
These postcards date from approximately the 1920s, and earlier.
One scalloped edge, non-glossy, divided back postcard reads:
"Palermo Catacombe dei Cappucini Corridoio dei Preti"
The photographer is marked "Stab. R. Gasparini & C. Genova"
Of the 5 other glossy faced, divided back postcards two are from the "Reparto Uomini" and the 3 others are from the "Reparto Professori"
All are marked "Ediz R. Gasparini & C. Genova"
They are all black and white photograph cards. 3 are more sepia toned and is a greenish hue.

5 7/8" x 4 1/4"
Condition:
All are in excellent, vintage, unused condition. They do show yellowing from age.
