Vintage fancy hat, 1950s black velvet beret rimmed in plumes of black feathers. A sculptural tam hat, with attached mesh face veil and bow, inserted into it is a clear, large lucite hat pin. Similar to a Calot or Juliet hat, with a small brim.
The large, etched lucite and metal hat pin is not part of the hat, but included for sale with the hat.
Approximate 20" interior circumference at band.
Approximate 9" diameter at brim.
(this hat is modeled on a very small model with a 6 yr old head! Will fit differently on your average adult head)
No maker's marks on either the hat or the pin.

Condition:
Excellent, vintage used condition. I can discern no wear, flaws or damage, even to the delicate mesh veil piece.
