There may be writing on the underside, but the photo is a partially adhered to black paper. It appears as if it was cut out of a photo album with paper pages.
Condition:
Good, but worn from age. There is a tear extending about an inch into the photo near the lower part and the corners are cut away, from being removed from an album. There are other creases and some minor surface wear, including silvering to the dark areas from age.
