An antique art nouveau postcard c. 1910s, used and postmarked from Montana, with a black and white woodland scene illustration.
This 100 yr old post card contains a hand written message and and postmark dating from January 20th, 1911, from Butte, Montana.
It contains its original one cent US stamp and is addressed to a Miss Lena Gehuder in Helena, Montana in the "Lunch Room" from Nettie.
The message to her aunt is to the point:
"just got some new cards so will send one"
The scene on the face of the card appears to be a print of a charcoal drawing depicting a charming midwestern woodland Winter scene, with bare streams and a flowing stream.
The used card is in GOOD Vintage condition for being 100 years old. There is some staining and discoloration, but little fading and no tears, bends or rips.
Nettie didn't mince words.
This item will be kept safe in a sealed archival sleeve, shipped inside a flat, unbendable mailer!
