Instant collection of 6 ceramic red and white critters circa mid century.
2 hens, 1 kitten with bow, 1 dog with bow, 1 frolicking dear and 1 squirrel.
Condition: Good VINTAGE condition, no cracks, some minor chipping along the bottoms of some of the animals. Red painted accents and black painted eye are faded or worn away on most areas of all animals, but this adds to their charm and gives them that amazing shabby-chic feel.
Size: Each figurine is between approximately 1.5" and 2.5" wide and 1.5" and 2.5" (or between 3.8 cm to 6.4 cm wide and tall)
Origin: My guess is that these were made in Japan (many figurines of this era and style were). But there are no markings.
These figurines would be a charming addition to a red & white retro kitchen or curio collection!
