Vintage pie pan for the NYAC. An aluminum pie plate with a central embossed winged foot logo, derived from the Greek God Hermes or Roman Mercury. From about the 40s,
New York Athletic Club memorabili, located at Central Park South, and exclusive sports club since 1868.
Approximate dimensions:
11 5/8" diameter at rim.
9" diameter base of plate interior
1 1/4" deep
No maker's marks.
Condition:
Very good, vintage, used, with moderate wear and scratching throughout from use. There is also some minor discoloration, darkening and loss of shine to the edges, especially under the rim. A few small dents in the base and the rim, throughout. The condition has been considered in pricing.
