Antique mustache mug. Likely pre-1890s white porcelain cup with angular handle, gold gilt edges and details, hand painted pink lotus blossom with teal stem. Likely German or Prussian made. A rare delicate, collectible, moustache teacup.

In gold writing, it reads what appears to be:

The lack of the country of origin means the piece was more than likely made prior to 1890s, at the height of mustache mug popularity.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition, other than a chip at the inner rim, not very obvious to the eye, but can be felt. A touch of wear to the gold outline at rim. Flaws have been considered in pricing.
