Marked with original label on interior that reads:
“Authentic Fenton Handmade”
The lack of the maker's mark and presence of sticker dates this basket from between 1959-1971 (it was after that date that the company began marking its hobnail pieces)
Condition:
Very good overall condition, with only one flaw. There is a sliver chipped away on both the interior and exterior ruffled rim in one spot. It is only noticeable on close inspection (please close up see photo above). There is some light discoloration on the interior above the label and a few specks on the hobnail and handle (very minor, may be removed with more intense scrubbing). I can discern no other damage or wear. The chip has been taken into great consideration when pricing this piece.
