Antique gravy boat in Holland Blue Flow pattern by Johnson Brothers England. 1910s rare classic blue and white transferware gravy or sauce boat, scalloped edge and embossed design, ornate handle and spout. Made in Staffordshire UK. A similar look to the Meissen's blue flow Onion pattern.
7 ½” long from handle to spout
3 ½” wide
4 ¼” tall
Good, antique, used condition with a fair amount of wear and some flaws. There is a hairline on one area of the rim (see photos above) that extends about ½”. The crack is through both sides and is discolored. There is crazing and discoloration throughout the exterior, and even more so, the interior of the boat, which is also discolored from age and used. Few areas of the crazing appears almost to be hairline cracks at the footed base. I can see or feel no chipping. The pattern is bold, but there are a few slight specks of color that are manufacturing flaws.
