Vintage elephant ashtray. 1940s made in Germany. A cigarette holder elephant trunk. Green on white ceramic, striped orange and blue ash tray. German tobacannia, rare figurine
Approximate size:
4 ½” x 3 1/8” x 3 ¼” tall
Marked:
Stamped “Germany” and “51” on the underside in red and within the clay “7080”
Condition:
Very good, vintage, used condition. There is a small hairline crack that extends through the wall of the ashtray portion and travels about a ½” down from the rim. There are no other chips , cracks or crazing and the color is still very vibrant. Some staining can be seen to the underside unglazed base.
