Vintage Christmas ornaments. A pair, one pink, small glass hand painted ball and foiled magenta, gold bulb ornament. 1950s made in Poland tree trim with mica glitter and white painted accents.
Ball: 5 ¾” approximate circumference
Teardrop shaped bulb: 5 ¾” circumference and 3 ¼” long approximately
Marked:
“Poland” on the original cap of each
Condition:
Excellent, vintage condition with expected wear for the age and delicacy of these ornaments. Both have glitter loss and oxidation, especially on the gold area of the bulb. There are no chips, cracks or damage, however, on the ball, there is a sliver of the glass neck that is on the outside of the metal cap. I am hesitant to adjust the cap, because of the delicate nature of the glass.
