Vintage Chalkware Dog 1950s Cocker Spaniel Chalk Ware Painted Puppy with Ball in Mouth Carnival Prize Shabby

Sorry, this item has sold.

Vintage chalkware dog. 1950s Cocker Spaniel chalk ware painted puppy with ball in his mouth. Shabby carnival prize. Similar to the Hankscraft 1950s TV lamp, which would have ad a ball in it's mouth. But this one has no wiring and is completely solid chalk ware.

7” x 5” x 5” approximately

No maker’s mark.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with a fair amount of wear throughout, in the form of small chips and nicks to the surface paint. There are a few more significant chips on his face, feet (especially his back right foot) and tail. This wear is typical of chalk ware pieces of this age, and adds a certain charm to his overall appearance.
