Antique silver plate ladle. 1890s Holmes and Edwards XIV Rialto pattern large punch ladle with side spouts. Inlaid silver process patented in Bridgeport, CT.
Large, ornate silver plated punch ladle. This pattern, Rialto, was initially used by Holmes and Edwards XIV in 1894, using their "Silver Inlaid" technique and advertised as "Guaranteed to last 25 years".
This larger sized, long, curved handled ladle, has spouts for pouring one each side. While intended for punch, it would work well for serving soup, too.
