Vintage Serving Bowls White Red Black Salem Victory White and Currant Pattern Parkway 1930s

Vintage Salem bowls. 1930s white large ribbed edge, red rimmed bowls with red currant and black fern or wheat pattern. Marked Salem Victory, possibly Parkway.

This listing is for two identical bowls, that differ in only the amount of wear on each.

These are the size of a modern day soup bowl (great for salad, pasta) but are technically a "Vegetable Serving Bowl".

Diameter of each at rim: 9”
Diameter of bowl mouth: 6 ¼”
Diameter at base: 3 ¾”
Height: 2 ½”

They are heavy, each weighing 1 lb 3 oz

China Co
Salem Ohio”

One is in excellent, vintage used condition, with a little wear to the red print at the edges and no chips or cracks, just light crazing throughout and a touch of yellow discoloration on the interior wall of the bowl. The other is in fair condition, but has no chips or flaws, shows similar crazing. However, the design is faded on the red current portion, and slightly scraped away on the black leaves, and one speck on the band. See photos above.
