Vintage Santa ornament. Mercury glass old world red Santa Claus holding a tiny green christmas tree. Distressed with age, 1940s hand blown, painted tree trim.
This small santa is silvered glass, handpainted red and holding a tiny green fir tree. The trim of his hat and coat is white with white sugary glitter
It measures approximately 2 3/4" tall x 1 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" deep.

Condition:
Very good condition for the the age of this glass ornament, with expected surface wear throughout. There are no chips or cracks. The metal cap in intact, and holds the ornament tightly, but it slightly mishapen and lifted away from the glass neck. See photos above.
