This deep and large, early pressed glass Victorian sugar bowl, with matching lid, is from the Astoria Rose pattern.
Approximate dimensions:
4" tall without lid
5 7/8" tall including handle on lid
4" diameter at opening
3 3/4" diameter at base
Condition:
Excellent vintage, used condition, especially considering the age and delicate nature of this painted glass antique piece. The gold paint especially is mostly worn away, however, the pink accents are still mostly present, and the hand painted rose and leaf design on the central front of the bowl and clear. There are no chips, cracks or damage to the glass that I can discern.
