Vintage bangle bracelet, by Danecraft with the rare di Vera mark. Sterling silver Felch bangle, circa 1945 to 1950s. Made in Providence, RI. Floral, a thin bangle with a repeating Art Nouveau style pattern of ovals and dots.
This is a thinner and more dainty version of the more frequently seen Danecraft and Felch sterling bracelets of the art nouveau style made mid century. THe "di Vera" sterling mark is not found as often as those marked Danecraft, both with and without the Felch mark.

This mark is rare and dates it from approximately 1945 to the 1950s.
Victor Primavera, Sr. & James Felch founded Felch & Co. in Providence, RI in 1934. The mark most commonly used was "Danecraft", sometimes with the mark "C" imposed over an "F" (as in this piece). This piece does not contain either of the traditional marks, however, "di Vera" by Danecraft can be found as a tag marking other mid century pieces by the manufacturer. In 1945 Primavera bought out Felch and changed the company name to Danecraft, which it has remained since that time. The company still operates and is owned by the same family, today.

Approximate width of bangle: 1/8"
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with some minor wear and very tarnished. The piece has been intentionally left unpolished to preserve the patina and leave the decision up to you. I will gladly polish this at no extra cost, upon request. Scratching and wear may be revealed upon polishing.
