Vintage hen on nest. A milk glass chicken on a basket by Westmoreland glass. White, opaque glass, covered candy dish with a hen roosting with its red painted cox comb on a basket base. The base has a flaw.
Approximate size:
5 1/2" long 4 1/4" wide and 3/8" tall at the tailfeather
The Westmoreland mark is on the interior of both the nest and lid.
Condition:
Good, vintage, used condition with one large chip at the rim that measures approximately a half inch long, but is not very noticeable. There is some light speckling on the interior and some light residue in the crevices throughout the exterior. The red paint shows slight wear.
