An antique humidor made by the Morris China Company of Trenton New Jersey in the early 1900s. A ceramic vessel with a detailed, brown, transferware scene. This piece was made for the American Tobacco Co, producer of Blue Boar, which is emblazoned on a storefront sign in the scene. Rare, early 20th century tobaccania. It is quite damaged, with two cracks and is missing its lid. Please see all photos and detailed condition description below. Could be used for repurposing or broken into mosaics tiles
Approximate size:
6" tall.
5 1/2" diameter at outer rim
5 3/4" diameter at base
Marked: Morris China Company on underside
Condition
Fair, but very damaged, antique, pre-owned condition. As mentioned and shown above, there. are 2wo large cracks down the outer walls. Because of the damage, this piece may or may not make it intact through the shipping process, and would need repair and a lid to be used as intended or it could be repurposed as mosaic pieces, etc. The condition has been factored into the price.
