A vintage cake carrier, enameled yellow with a pastel fireworks design. A cake tin or pie tote, metal, lidded container with latch handle and underplate. 4 pieces total, has flaws, please see condition description below.

Condition:
Fair, vintage, pre-owned condition, with numerous flaws. There are dents, dings and rust/tarnish throughout, particularly on the underplate. The lid doesn't sit flush with base and the latch handle doesn't secure over the lid very easily, because it is misshapen. The condition has been considered in pricing.

Unfortunately this was not exactly what I had pictured getting. The tin is dented more than expected, compared to the photo. The lid does not fit at all. The carry handle does not go with this piece, it cannot fit over the top knob. I thought from the description that it was just warped but it doesn’t go with this piece at all. On a good note the seller stepped in quickly and refunded me the full price once I shared my experience. I moved my one star to a two star rating since I’m still disappointed with the item and uncertain what to do with it.
