My four blue cast iron au gratin dishes were shipped out the same day that I paid for them. Each was perfectly wrapped in bubble wrap and taped. After binging on Julia Child's and Jacque Pepin's shows this summer when i was bedbound for two weeks, I was determined to enhance cheap foods in fancy dishes. I've used these dishes every day since they arrived, and get a charge every time I look at them. Am looking forward to making homemade pasta with mushrooms-cheap but fancy in my oval dishes.
