




Vintage postcard Long Island NY Greenport High School 40s. Collotype postcard published by Tomlin, 1940s color post card North Fork Long Island History.
Tomlin Art Co., of Northport, NY, produced post cards from 1943-1960’s, was a publisher of collotype view-cards Queens and Long Island, New York. Many of these cards, printed in black & white and monotone had hand coloring added to only selective parts of the image possibly by airbrush. This firm later went on to produce photochromes.
The card is unused and has a divided backa nd a small blurb about the Village of Greenport.
Condition:
Very good used vintage condition. One corner is slightly worn and the red bordered edges are slightly faded. Otherwise, the color is vivid. The underside may be slightly yellowed.
The card is 5.5" x 3.5" or 14 cm x 8.9 cm
This item will be kept safe in a sealed archival sleeve, shipped inside a flat, unbendable mailer.
