HOLD FOR STACY A vintage large bowl. Baby pink and white pottery bowl, huge and marked with a black "Texas" stamp. Circa 1940s or '50s, a heavy ironstone basin, with interior pink and black stripes. Possibly once part of a pitcher and wash basin set. This piece has flaws, please see the full condition description below.

Approximate dimensions:
14 1/2” diameter
4 7/8” tall
4” deep
8 1/2” diameter at base

Marked with a black stamp on the underside base that reads “Texas” within a banner. I have found nothing regarding this brand. The bowls weight and appearance seem to be ironstone and the style dates it from approximately the 40s/50s.

VERY HEAVY AT 7 lb 5 oz

Condition:
Good, vintage, used condition with some damage. There is one very large chip on the outer rim (please see photos) and another on the underside base rim (only visible when the bowl is turned over.) There is crazing throughout, as well as, grey discoloration beneath the glaze, mostly at the outer and interior upper areas near the rim. There is light scratching and discoloration throughout.
