Vintage ornaments. Indent balls pair in red and silver and a golden tone with hand painted pink accents. The red mercury glass bulb has a rare four indents, they other is a double indent ball. Both have finials. Very old, rare Christmas tree trim.
Approximate size of larger silver and pink ball:
8 ½” circumference
3 ½” long
Approximate side of red smaller ball:
7” circumference
3 ¾” long
Maker unknown, no clear mark on the cap, but likely German, Czech or Polish circa 1930s or earlier.
Condition:
Excellent, but very age distressed. The smaller is missing a cap but has the wire hanging loop inserted within the glass neck and held with tension. This would be best replaced. Both show wear and roughness to the exterior, as well as, oxidation spotting, typical with antique glass balls and adding to the charm.
