Vintage large purse wood handle. A frame handbag in a barrel shape constructed of taupe brocade fabric. A unique handmade bag, a one of a kind pocketbook in a khaki hue.
Approximate size:
12 ¼” wide x 8 ¼” deep x 11 ½” tall at handle top
No maker’s marks, likely handmade.
Condition:
Very good, vintage, used condition, with some minor flaws. There is one small, red, speck of a stain on one side of the fabric and a white paint smudge at the handle edge (see photos). The stitching attaching the fabric to the frame and the top is loose or missing from a number of holes in the wood frame (this is an easy fix). There are a few small stains and holes to the lining fabric. The handle lock is in good working order.

WoW! Just WoW! This bag is beautiful! I purchase it specifically for the frame so that I could upcycle it. Can't wait to redo this is leather, sand and re-stain the wood. Fast shipping with careful packaging.
