Antique plate. A flow blue tulip pattern by Elsmore & Forster Tunstall. Very old ironstone circa mid 1800s with copper luster details. An English blue flow rim dinner plate crazed
Approximate size:
8” diameter
1” tall
5” diameter at base
The mark has been very worn away from age, but this is an Elsmore & Forster Tunstall ironstone piece, circa mid to late 1800s.
Condition:
Good, antique condition, considering it's age (over 150 years old!). Light crazing throughout and stain within the glaze, that is very visible, on the front white surface of the plate near one side. This is likely from moisture that seeped within the crazing (please see photos). Some wear to the gold, as would be expected. No are no visible chips or cracks.
