Vintage bust, Sikh woman with turquoise bindi. A ceramic painted head with a blue chunni or head scarf, attire of Sikhs, often in India, particularly Punjab. Mid century pottery, from mold, possibly Marwal. The bindi and her life-like eyes are plastic.

Marked:
Hand etched into the base are the initials:
“T.B.”
Condition:
Excellent, vintage, used condition. There is the tiniest speck/blemish to the hand-painted surface on her right temple. There is also a white, possible paint, spot on her right shoulder area, likely a production flaw.No chips or cracks.
