Vintage Hawaiian girl bust. Ceramic, hand painted polynesian woman's head with a hibiscus flower in her hair. Hula girl pottery mold. 60s retro island style. Possibly Marwal ceramic. Dated 1969. There are flaws, please see detailed condition description below.

Approximate size:
8 ½” x 5 ½” x 5” deep

Marked:
Handwritten into the clay on the bottom is the name:
“Shirley Herman”
And the date:
“6/69”

Condition:
There are two chips to the painted surface on the face (one on each cheek) which is visible (see photos above). There are multiple smaller, tiny chips, to the paint on her hair and the front shoulder. There is some wear to the paint of the eyes, too. Overall, it is in good condition otherwise, no major chips or any cracks. The flaws have been considered in the pricing of this piece.
