Vintage owl. An amigurumi style, handmade graduation owl. A gray and yellow stuffed owl with cap and gown. A hand crocheted stuffed animal, 1970s. A great graduation gift or for the owl collector, amigurumi collector.
This grey, white and yellow owl is stuffed and completely crocheted, including his graduation cap with a red yarn tassel. Beneath the owls bottom is the original label, placed on by its creator, reading: "Specially Handmade by Catherine". His body is grey, with white trim along his scallop edged wings. His beak, feet and rims of his eyes are golden ochre yellow.
He stands approximately 8" (3.1 cm) tall.
Condition:
Near mint. The owl has no issues, except one of the yarn threads that attached the cap has come loose (see photo #5 above) although it still stays on his head and could be easily re-attached.
