Vintage locket. White enameled chrome with a silver starburst etched for an atomic style. A mid century round photo locket necklace on a silver tone chain, likely made by Amerikaner FBM of Germany.
The locket is approximately 2” in diameter
It will hold a round photo approximately 1 3/8” in diameter
The chain is approximately 23 ½” long
No maker’s marks.
But I have found very similar made by "Amerikaner FBM" of Germany (Friedrich Binder Moehnsheim)
Condition: Good, vintage, used condition with some light wear and what appears to be a hairline crack in the surface of the enamel. This is barely visible, but under magnification it appears to be a crack. The enamel does not seems weak or like there is risk of it worsening. There is a tiny chip to the enamel at once edge and a touch of light scratching to both the white front and chrome back. The locket and clasp are both in working order. The flaws have been considered in pricing.
