Although barely able to be seen through the rust and wear, it is marked "Pelouze Family Scale by the Pelouze MFG. Co., Chicago USA"
Condition:
Very rustic, aged and distressed condition. The face of the scale is very rusty, it appears it was left out in the elements at some point, and it is only partially legible. The tray and scale function, but it is crooked at the top. The black finish to the metal is bubble and flaked away throughout the base. In this condition, this would be use as a display piece.
