Vintage Cuckoo Clock 1960's Black Forest Clock Germany Leaf and Loon Design Emil Schmeckenbecher Pine Cone Weights Complete But Needs Repair

Sorry, this item has sold.

Vintage cuckoo clock. A 1960's Black Forest Clock, made in Germany, in the Leaf and Loon design by Emil Schmeckenbecher, complete with pine cone weights and all parts, but needs repair. Amazingly, in original factory packaging from when it was purchased in 1967.

Approximately:
11” tall x 7 1/2 wide x 6 ½” deep

The "Original Black Forest Cuckoo Clock Label" is present, as well as, the original instruction manual and all original packaging, with labels.

Condition:
Although I have not been able to get the pendulum to swing for more than 30 seconds or so, it does tick, the clock hands turn and the mechanism does move. Overall, the clock is visually in excellent condition. It appears to barely have been used. There is one split in the wood at the top front roofline, which may be be part of production. As mentioned above, all parts are present, including the original instructions and box it was shipped it. There seems to be a minor issue this the mechanism to make the it cuckoo and play music. I have not been able to manually play the music, but I have been able to test that the cuckoo and chiming sounds are working. All three weights are present, they do lift as the clock ticks and the chains do pull. The pendulum is present and there appears to be no interior damage to the parts. The fact that it is currently not in working order has been taken into account in pricing. In working order or refurbished, these usually are priced in the $300 range.
