Vintage pitcher with a windmill design. A ceramic, large creamer, hand painted with a rustic look and muted colors. OOAK pottery made from mold of an Imperial Glass pitcher, is my best guess, as it is identical is design to a popular one.
For use only as a vase, decorative piece.
I believe it is some sort of lightweight pottery or possible a paper mache.
Approximate size:
6 ¼” tall
3 3/8” diameter at mouth
6 ½” width at widest including handle
2 ½” width at base
Handwritten on base:
“Not For Food
Decoration Only!!
For Karen
From Bev ‘83”
Condition:
Good, but with a lot of wear to the exterior, more so, which adds to the rustic look. There is some newspaper adhered to one side. There may or may not be a hairline crack. It doesn’t seem to go through the wall of the pitcher, but is visible on the interior and could be just in the glaze. The condition has been accounted for in the one of kind piece.
