Vintage snack bowls. Two nesting serving bowls, red and black laquerware with a white lid decorated with a mod apple and tree motif in green and brown, with a silver metal fluted, knob handle.
The bowls are not marked, but date from the 1960s.
The lid fits the large bowl and the small bowl is able to nest inside.
Large Bowl:
5.5" or 14 cm diameter of the mouth of the bowl
5" or 12.7 cm diameter of base
3.5" or 8.9 cm tall including lid
Small bowl:
5" or 12.7 cm diameter of mouth of the bowl
4.5" or 11.4 cm
Condition:
Good vintage condition. There are some scratches and marks on the white lid (see photos #4 above) and on the underside of the lid. The inside of the smaller bowl has white, powdery looking marks that could not be removed with washing (see photo #5 above.)
