Vintage Miami postcard bird, cockatoo. Postcard Florida 1940s parrot photograph. Salmon Crested Cockatoo at Parrot jungle, Miami, Florida. Gulf Stream Card FL souvenir, postally unused.

The front of the card reads "Salmon-Crested Cockatoo, Parrot Jungle, Miami, Fla."

The back of the card reads: "A trip to Miami is not a complete without a visit to the famous Parrot Jungle. Here Parrots, Macaws and Cockatoos fly free, yet can be fed from the visitors hand nd easily photographed perched on one's arm against a background of natural jungle beauty."

This card is unused, in terms of postage, but the back has the name "Rubin" written on it in blue pen right away the description.

It was published by Gulf Stream Card & Distributing Co., Miami, Florida, a Genuine Curteich-Chicago, "C.T." Art-Colortone" post card printed on linen paper, dating it to at the latest the mid 1940s.

Condition: Unused, despite the handwritten name. The card is in good vintage condition, except the back is discolored and a tear on the upper right corner. There other corners are also slightly bent and worn. See photo #5 above.

The card is 5.5" x 3.5" or 14 cm x 8.9 cm
