Vintage tie clip, Incan Sun God. Sterling men's accessory. Silver mens tie clip, Mexico, 3-dimensional medallion, like a coin, head of the Incan Sun God, Inti.
Marked "Sterling Mexico", "925" and there is another word in a oval that is partially worn and I can't make out (see photo #3 & #4 above)
The tie clip has a strong, clamp with teeth, in perfect working order.
Time has caused a lovely patina to form on the medallion and clip, creating darkness in the areas that recede and lighter golden and greenish patina tone on the head and flat part of the clip.

2" x .75" x .5" or 5.1 cm x 1.9 cm x 1.3 cm (approximately)

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. There are some extremely tiny surface scratches and blemishes on the flat, shiny surface of the clip (very visible in the close up photos above, but not to the normal eye.) As mentioned above, the years have produced a beautiful patina and I have intentionally left this piece unpolished. If you would like it polished after purchasing, please let me know.
