An antique wood pediment or trim piece, hand carved. Salvaged, ornamental, stained solid hardwood with an oak or walnut look and dark stain. The motif is of a classical style. It topped door or window, possible, or an antique furniture piece.
Salvaged likely either from a door/window, armoire or hutch top, or possibly a mantle or other furniture portion.
Could serve many beautiful purposes. Above a doorway or window, mantle, headboard, credenza, hutch, cabinetry or as a stand alone wall art piece.

Condition:
Excellent, salvaged, vintage/antique condition. The piece is solid and intact and the staining is still fairly even throughout. The underside and edges are rough and unfinished, as this piece, mentioned above, likely originated as a portion of either a hutch, dresser, credenza, or possibly a part of a door/window frame or mantelpiece. There is a hole towards either end where it likely was affixed to its original host.
